Cancer has changed my life profoundly with my mother passing away in 2016 from Stage 4 Bowel Cancer (metastatic colorectal adenocarcinoma) and I am also the carer for my wife who in 2015 was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer.
When you or a loved one are first given the diagnosis of cancer from your doctor, you need to remember that there is hope and there are others who have travelled a similar journey.
I would like to try to help those who are going through something similar by sharing my story and providing links to the best cancer support information:

I feel very lucky to have had the opportunity to visit Japan on a number of occasions, with spending the majority of the time visiting my wife’s family in Hiroshima, Japan.
Hiroshima is a beautiful city, though sadly it is best known for being the location of the first nuclear attack in history when the United States dropped an atomic bomb on the city.
The nuclear attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki on the 6th and 9th August 1945, killed as many as 340,000 people according to the International Committee of the Red Cross.
Hiroshima Peace Memorial Atomic Bomb Dome is a place for reflection and contemplation about the horrors of war and especially the use of nuclear weapons.
